Rides Rides Rides!

Last month I finally made it out to the Critical Mass ride in downtown West Palm Beach. Critically, only about 5 people showed up so it's nothing amazing like the ones in the bigger cities but hey, we're trying. It's held every last Friday of the month and meet up is at the fountains downtown. Saw old faces and new faces and we had a fun time riding through parts of the area I have never been to! Our ride coincided with the Art and Wine event at the Northwood Village area, which is sort of like another downtown but further north of here. Tom was riding on his tall bike and commanded the attention of everyone on the streets with its awesomeness! It was amazing just watching him get on the thing.

Tonight we finally had the Ladies Night ride since last week it was cancelled due to lightning. We finally managed to catch a break with a spell of cooler dry air and a beautiful week of full moonlight. By cooler I mean that instead of 95 it was 91 today. There were the most riders as of yet tonight: a whopping total of 10! More than Critical Mass! We went out to the beach, had some drinks, laughs, and flew some kites in the moonlight. It was great meeting all of the new people, like Ken Steinhoff of Palm Beach Bike Tours - great chatting with you !
